2. Other additional services and policies

Guests per room: 

Please check the maximum number of guests allowed according to the room type. Free one child under 12 years old stays free of charge when using existing beds. Free one children under 2 years old stays free of charge in a crib. Additional adult/child or additional bed fee: Between USD 25 and USD 60 per night, upon disponibility, Hotel and room type.

Crib: Hotel courtesy. Please request your crib in advance to have it prepared before your arrival. Subject to availability.

Pets: Not allowed. Only assistance animals with a certificate.

Non-smokers: Smoking is not allowed inside the hotel, please check our smoking area. If you smoke in non-permitted areas, a specialized clean-up will be performed to remove odor, which will cost USD 150 and will be charged to your room.

3. Tax, Tax Exemption & Fees for foreigner:

In Chile:

Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19%. To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger won’t be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA).

In Peru:

Non-resident travellers in Peru may be exempt from 18% Sales Tax (IGV) in accommodation, food, and non-alcoholic drinks. To qualify for this exemption, you must submit your passport and the Andean Migration Card stamped with an arrival date no longer than 60 days.

In Colombia:

Individuals residing outside Colombia may be exempt from 19% tax. In order to benefit from this exemption, show your ID with the entrance seal to «PIP 5» Colombia (for tourist trips.) If you are a member of the European Community, you may also be exempt from taxes; please present the «PIP 10» entrance seal, which is exclusive for EC members (not valid for company invoices.)

In USA:

Fees advertised and additional service amounts do not include 7% City Tax and 6% State Tax, i. e., 13% tax.

4. Guarantee Policies:

As a guarantee for your booking, the hotel will request a valid credit card upon booking. A «withholding» – not a payment – may be performed for the first night of stay, plus tax. This will only be effective if the person does not show up or cancels a booking outside the timeframe. This withholding is released when you arrive at the hotel.

Important: please consider that banks may take up to 72 hours to release withholdings and until 5 days if you pay with a credit card different from that used as a guarantee.

5. Cancellations, modifications, changes and anticipated leave:

In order to cancel or change a booking at no cost, remember to do it before 3 PM on the day before your arrival, provided that you did not pay a «promotional, non-refund» fee. Do it within that timeframe in order to avoid extra charges (amount for the first night plus taxes.) If you made your booking through our website www.atton.com you can change it by clicking in the reservation number that appears in the confirmation document we sent to your e-mail. If you made your booking through a third-party website, changes must be made through the same channel used for the booking.

Anticipated leave

If you need to leave the hotel before the scheduled date, just write us at reservas.chile@atton.com at least 24 hours before the new check-out date. This way, you will not be charged for an extra night. Please do it through e-mail in order to have a supporting document of your request.

6. No show

In case of no show (you have a reservation but fail to come to the hotel and do not cancel the booking), you will be charged the value of the first night of your stay plus taxes.

7. Payment methods

We accept the following payment methods: Credit card, debit card and cash, whether in local currency or US dollars.

9. Rate Conditions

Flexible Rate:

Enjoy your stay with maximum flexibility. Changes or cancellations can be made up to 24 Hrs. before your arrival. Excellent breakfast buffet, high speed Wi-Fi and complimentary parking. There is not additional charge for up to two children under 12 years old. Foreign guests non-residents are exempt from this tax if the payment is made in US dollars – cash or international credit card – and presentation of passport and immigration document.

Guarantee Policy:

All Reservations Require Credit Card Guarantee due at time of booking

Cancellation Policy:

Reservations must be cancelled or modified 24 hours prior to arrival, considered at 3 PM (As long as it is not a promotional nonrefundable fee). Otherwise first room night will be charged for no show. All cancellations and changes must be done by same way the reservation was made. Early Departures must be informed at least 24 hours prior to the new Check Out date, by email. There will be a confirmation of the modification as backup. Otherwise one night will be charged as penalty.

Promotional Rates & special discounts rates:

Get the best price by booking at least 21 days in advance with our non refundable rate. Includes buffet breakfast, complentary parking and free WiFi.

Cancellation and Changes Policy:

No cancellations or changes are allowed after the reservation has been made.
